Dancing Zombie Puppet Outbreak

Enjoy an outbreak of dancing zombie puppets in "Piece of Me Piece of You" by Three Legged Legs for Zune. The puppets were created by Adam Parker Smith and Caroline Salas. There's a lengthy explanation of how the video was created, along with lots of concept art and photos here.

Lost explained by a very enthusiastic puppet (spoilers)

Puppet Pierre Chang explains last night's episode of Lost (which wasn't filled with clever twists, rather, the writers were simply lying to us all season (effLocke is not a good guy, and Widmore is not a master planner)). Via.

(That's my favorite building in LA behind him, by the way. Like a modern wizard's tower.)

The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari as a puppet show

Redmoon Theatre's The Cabinet:
A spectacle in miniature, The Cabinet sets the story of the murderous Dr. Caligari and his somnambulist slave Cesare in an off-kilter world of puppetry and intricate machinery. Inspired by the 1919 German Expressionist silent film The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, The Cabinet creates a wild, abstracted "cabinet of curiosities" in which five puppeteers manipulate and maneuver the characters and objects much as Caligari controls Cesare's plight.
Here are my favorites from the approximately 100 images of the show:

The Chicago Sun-Times gave The Cabinet a rave review:
The “stage” is a giant, off-kilter dresser with various drawers and doors that open to reveal a disorienting, Piranesi-like world of black-and white. The arms of the puppeteers (who at times hang upside down on unseen scaffolding) manipulate a vast array of richly expressive puppets and “objects” that include everything from elaborate pop-up books to scissors and daggers that snip and stab as necessary, leaving only red ribbons of blood behind.
