Tron: Legacy toys look pretty terrible

The initial Tron: Legacy teaser trailer was genius. The full-length trailer was ok. And now these toys are awfully lackluster. Supposedly the remote control lightcycle drives on walls, emits a lightwall behind it, and falls off if it runs into another vehicle's lightwall. I'll go out on a limb and say they either don't work, or break almost immediately, or are absurdly expensive. Via these sites.

Nintendo's light trax

Destructoid gave it a lackluster review, but spend a moment enjoying the trippy visuals of Nintendo's light trax, which features what sure looks like light cycles racing:

2. Last paragraph of Roger Ebert's review of The Losers:
I noted that Zoe Saldana is beautiful. I noted something else. In keeping with the current popularity of cafe au lait complexions, the movie uses lighting and filters to bathe the romantic scenes in a kind of golden glow, so that Saldana and Morgan come out looking about the same. We're no longer making people of color look whiter in the movies; we're tinting people of whiteness. Time marches on.
