Totally bizarre commercial for The Last Story
Here's a few commercials for upcoming Wii game The Last Story. The first couple are mundane, showing lots of gameplay and movie footage. But at 1 minute in, the third commercial features live actors in bodysuits, I'm guessing they're showing off the fighting mechanics. Via these sites.

Dead Space 2 - - Your Mom Hates This
Fun ad campaign for Dead Space 2, a series of videos of "moms" being horrified by the game. Because "a mom's disapproval has always been an accurate baromoter of what is cool." Here's a making of video:
And here's one the videos just focusing on a particular mom:

Green Lantern's Ring, perhaps?
One of Nike's promotional stunts surrounding the national championship game:
Lightwave International uses over 200Watts of full-color direct-diode and OPS lasers to brand Camelback Mountain for thousands of fans at the 2011 Fiesta Bowl. These images were photographed from the Bud Light Fiesta grounds at sunrise.*Buy laser pointers at Amazon.
The face of the mountain, approximately 2 miles from the laser projectors, becomes a canvas for a laser light show during the festivities. Projected images include massive versions of 'JUST DO IT.' The Oregon Ducks 'O' and the Nike Swoosh. The projected images are many hundreds of feet wide and using the world's largest full-color entertainment lasers.

1. I really liked Broken Angels, the second novel I've read by Richard Morgan. It's a little tough to describe, basically imagine a tale of WW2-era profiteering featuring a Humphrey Bogart like character, if Bogart's character was a genetically modified super soldier. But the cover, which you can see at Amazon is embarrassingly bad.
