Scott Campbell rocket giveaway

Scott Campbell will have an art show at Gallery Nucleus in Los Angeles starting March 7. As I understand it, the paper rocket you see above is actually a raffle ticket that's being given away at various locations in LA right now. Click here to read the details and see what you can win. But really, the rocket is awesome enough.

Maltese puppies (link roundup)

Maltese puppies found here and posted for my favorite reader. Relatedly, Hotel for Dogs was horrendous. All I wanted was to take my boy to a harmless movie about kids taking care of dogs. Instead, we got a mostly dark tale about foster parents and kids being chased by scary police officers.
