A private consortium of classic sports car enthusiasts has announced the launch of Tygan Motor Company Ltd, a wholly new British manufacturer of very high quality classic replica sports cars.
The group behind Tygan consists of a number of highly successful, prominent businessmen and women, who are passionate about classic sports cars, but who also have extensive experience of running profitable businesses from a diverse range of industries. To provide the foundation of the business, Tygan has purchased the assets from Tygan which was founded in the late 1980s, and established its reputation as a manufacturer of replicas of the 1950s Porsche 356 Speedster, based on VW Beetle components.
