First the missionaries, now the lawyers

But it seems that Stevan Lieberman, an partner at IP boutique Greenberg & Lieberman in D.C., knows exactly what it is. Indeed, he and his firm have opted to expand their firm into the virtual world. "Take that, DLA Piper," says today's Legal Times in a story on Second Life and the law.

Believe it or not, Lieberman and his firm are are landing clients, filing real trademark applications and making real money through the virtual world. By Lieberman's reckoning, the firm has pulled in nearly $20,000 from its Second Life office in the past year. And that additional revenue comes with no overhead. Lieberman's avatar, by the way, is named "Navets Potato."
