Meet Daniel Davis:
1. What is your idea of the perfect day?
My perfect day is getting some new art done, designing a new product, and then hanging out with my family and chuckling at a bad movie. And eating pies. (Pot pie, then apple pie.)
2. Describe one of the best moments in your life:
Laughing with my wife and son. That's tough to beat.
3. What is your most common nightmare?
Me generally making a jerkweed of myself in front of Mike Mignola, the creator of Hellboy. Basically, I say something stupid or accidentally insult him, and then spill tea on his foot or drop a doughnut on his shoulder or splash pea soup on his jacket. Crazy stuff like that. It's pretty much how it goes in real life too, though I haven't dropped any food on him yet. (And Mike is always a gentleman.)
4. What are your three favorite possessions?
My Shogun Warrior collection. Our Steam Crow library of art books and comics. My roleplaying figure collection (2000+ pieces). I'm sadly a "collector".
5. What is your goal for 2010?
Create a bunch of cool stuff (comics, art, toys) and get healthier. (Drop 500 pounds.)
6. What super power would you most like to have?
ART-RAY! I could shoot all of the creatures and stories of my imagination onto paper, canvas, or the computer, fully rendered and looking fantastic.
OR, FILMZOT, which is the same thing, but it would come out as a fully realized movie. In seconds! I want this, please.
