This sign apparently got Paul Maybury fired from Whole Foods

I pity the Whole Foods shoppers that didn't like this sign. (Update: it only sort of got him fired.)

On the other hand, this one might have been a little too adventurous:

And this one probably was a little offensive.

Dead Tauntaun with Luke wedding cake (link roundup)

Dead Tauntaun with Luke Skywalker wedding cake by Cake Nouveau for Chris Trevas' wedding. More photos here. Relatedly, Cake Nouveau is hosting a jack-o-lantern design contest.

And a few more links:

2. Some Jews (and others) object to autopsies on religious grounds. Medical examiners try to accommodate those concerns by making minimal intrusions when possible. But increasingly, medical examiners can use three-dimensional visualizations to inspect the body without making a single cut. The scans are much cheaper than autopsies, which cost approximately $4,500(!). Via.

The A-Team eats sushi off a friend

The A-Team eats sushi off The Greatest American Hero in this piece by Scott Campbell for the Idiot Box show opening tomorrow at Gallery 1998.

At the risk of giving you an earworm, here's the openings for both shows. I actually couldn't find an embeddable English-language version of the A-Team opening:

UPDATE: From the same show - - the A-Team as robots.

UPDATE #2: From the comments - - the A-Team opening redone as Gears of War machinima. The ending is terrific:
