Jack the Ripper: The Animated Series (link roundup)

Jack the Ripper: The Animated Series DVD design by Eva Galesloot. See also: McDonald's Academy; Numbers with personality. Via.

And a few more links:

1. Severed feet keep washing up on the shore of British Columbia.

2. Major layoffs expected at Time Inc. Via.

3. Apparently Wizard magazine will stop including its comic price guide in the magazine. I'm a bit torn on such price guides. On one hand, I think they take advantage of kids by giving them a false impression as to the value of such comics or baseball cards or whatever. On the other hand, it was an unforgettable lesson the first time I actually tried selling a baseball card to a shop for the price quoted in Beckett and realized that the dealer had no interest in paying such a price. And I'll never forget the precocious kid in elementary school who made tremendous money reselling Garbage Pail Kids in the halls.

No one knows why, although one theory is that there's an underground fire burning. My theory is that the people of Ventura have dug too deep, and too greedily. Via.
