No one can bring me down quite like Chris Ware

Cinefamily organizes classic movie showings at a movie theater in Los Angeles. Tonight they're showing "Tokyo Story" and "Brothers and Sisters of the Toda Family." Chris Ware illustrated the cover of the latest Cinefamily program, which I believe is inspired by Tokyo Story. Three panels, no dialogue, and almost no movement, and yet it's tremendously depressing:
