Transforming Decepticon billboard

I couldn't find video, but apparently this billboard features a Transformers logo that folds into the Decepticons logo. It's an ad by Colenso BBDO to promote a showing of Transformers on TV3.

Colenso is clearly the master of animated billboards. Their previous work includes

The bleeding billboard:

And an exploding billboard:

Transforming ads

Two clever transforming ads.

First, a billboard by Spring Advertising + Design for the FX makeup school at John Casablancas Institute. From 300' away, the woman looks normal. But approach to 50' and the woman becomes a monster. The landing page for the school is absolutely horrendous, as if it was designed by someone who had never used the web.

Second, a bus shelter ad by Jung von Matt for Amnesty International. Thanks to eye recognition, whenever the ad thinks no one's looking at it, the image of a happy domestic couple turns into one depicting domestic abuse. Via.

Grand Theft Auto: Spider-Man (link roundup)

Grand Theft Auto: Spider-Man and GTA: Dark Knight. See also GTA: Tarzan. Relatedly, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for the DS is the best game I've played for the DS. A+. Via these sites.

Giant billboard for BMW with real cars attached

There's an enormous billboard in Moscow with five BMWs attached to it. At night, the cars' head and taillights are turned on. You can see many more images here. And here's video of someone driving past it during the day:

Arby's thought balloon added to a billboard

"I'm thinking Arby's" thought balloon added to a CBS news billboard in Atlanta. Ad by Fletcher Martin. The billboard itself is a genuine ad for a CBS weathergirl named Dagmar Midcap:

I wonder if she was paid, and if not, how she feels about the ad. Via these sites.
